A Special Focus on VET
in Secondary Schools - ASQA
JULY 2018
VET in schools provides valuable opportunities for secondary school students to prepare for the world of work and to learn skills that will lead them to a vocational career. There is a growing number of research reports that show that there is risk associated with its delivery in this setting. Secondary students' VET experiences can be significantly affected when learning and assessment resources do not meet the required standards.

There has not yet been a national scrutiny of the risks in this area. ASQA says that it will now undertake such a study to identify the risks associated with VET in schools.

Skin Deep Learning is keen to further understand the requirements of this sector as an ever increasing number of secondary schools use our Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing training resources.
